The AN-S series is a passive step-up transformer family that converts the current output of moving coil cartridges into voltage suitable for moving magnet phono stages. The transformers feature Audio Note (UK) manufactured cores with premium magnetic materials housed in mumetal screening. Available in seven versions (AN-S1 through AN-S9) with progressively upgraded core materials and silver windings on the higher tiers.
