Eversolo DMP-A6 Gen 2
À propos du
Eversolo DMP-A6 Gen 2.
The Eversolo DMP-A6 Gen 2 is a network music streamer and DAC that punches well above its price class, combining dual ESS ES9038Q2M DAC chips in a dedicated left/right channel configuration with an upgraded XMOS XU316 audio interface capable of native DSD512 and 32-bit/768 kHz PCM decoding.
Power Supply Architecture
A key improvement in the Gen 2 revision is the ultra-low-noise linear power supply, which reduces supply noise to below 40 microvolts. Clean power delivery to the DAC and analog output stages has a direct and measurable impact on dynamic range, channel separation, and low-level detail retrieval — and this is where the Gen 2 distinguishes itself from its predecessor most clearly.
Connectivity
The DMP-A6 Gen 2 provides dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4G/5G), Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0 ports, and Bluetooth 5.0 with LDAC and aptX HD codec support. An HDMI ARC input allows the unit to receive audio directly from a television, making it a practical centerpiece for combined music and home theater systems. Analog outputs include both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA connections.
Format and Platform Support
The streamer handles DSD, MQA, FLAC, APE, WAV, and all major lossless and lossy formats. Streaming service integration includes TIDAL, Qobuz, Highresaudio, and Amazon Music, with protocol support for Roon Ready, TIDAL Connect, and DLNA. The combination of broad format compatibility and direct platform access means fewer boxes and fewer compromises in the signal chain.
Interface and Build
A 6-inch high-resolution touchscreen provides direct control over playback, settings, and library navigation. The solid aluminum alloy chassis offers effective shielding and thermal management while maintaining a refined aesthetic that fits comfortably in both dedicated listening rooms and living spaces.
