Matrix Audio SI-1 Audio Grade Network Isolator
À propos du
Matrix Audio SI-1 Audio Grade Network Isolator.
The Matrix Audio SI-1 is a premium audio-grade network isolator designed for audiophiles who want a cleaner, quieter signal path in streaming-based Hi-Fi systems. Built to reduce noise from routers and network switches, it uses active optical-electrical isolation to block electromagnetic interference, break ground loops, and prevent current noise caused by grounding potential differences between connected devices. The result is a darker background, greater low-level detail, and improved overall clarity.
Internally, the SI-1 uses a dual-channel optical transmission architecture so send and receive paths remain independent, helping reduce crosstalk and interference. Matrix Audio also equips it with two femtosecond clocks plus a linear power supply built around a dual-winding potted toroidal transformer and multiple LDO stages for stable, low-noise operation. This design helps preserve data integrity, reduce jitter, and improve timing precision in digital audio playback.
The SI-1 includes two RJ45 ports with a physically separated layout: one input and one isolated output. The isolated output uses photoelectric isolation and an electrical isolation washer to cut electrical continuity between devices while reducing transmission errors. The chassis is a CNC-machined unibody aluminum enclosure for improved shielding and a premium finish, while front-panel status LEDs and switchable rear Ethernet LEDs add practical usability in real listening environments.
