What you’ll hear

The Blue Room — light from the window-brick wall, two Burmester floorstanders firing across the leather Chesterfield, a Klein-blue monochrome holding the back wall like a held breath.

Burmester is the German chrome-faced reference language: hand-tuned dual-mono Class-A power amplification, brushed-aluminium fascia, the kind of build quality that ages by deepening rather than by failing.

The painting on the back wall is an Yves-Klein-style International Klein Blue (IKB) monochrome — a single-pigment, single-color saturation. It draws every eye in the room and answers every speaker’s worst impulse with stillness.

The system

  • Burmester B30 — three-way floorstander, 87 dB, 220 W, AMT tweeter
  • Burmester 909 MK2 Reference Power Amplifier — dual-mono Class-A, two-decade circuit refinement
  • Eversolo DMP-A10 — reference network streamer, dual ESS9039PRO DACs

The art

A’yin Morradi — IKB monochrome, on the back wall. See the Blue Gardens series →
