Twelve years in development under Audio Note UK’s digital engineer Darko Greguras, the IZVOR converter dispenses with the conventional DAC chip entirely — the first DAC built on large, hand-soldered discrete resistor ladders rather than surface-mount silicon. The DAC 4.1x IZVOR Balanced brings the IZVOR ladder to the 4.1x balanced platform, voiced through component selection from Audio Note’s custom parts library.
