About the
Acapella Hyperion.
The Hyperion is built around drivers developed exclusively for it: 15-inch woofers in elaborately braced cabinets carry the bass to a 16 Hz lower cut-off. The midrange is taken over by a hyperspherical 780 horn unit developed specifically for this system, with heavy rear-damping that lets the 2.5-inch dome operate free of colouration. Above it, the ION TW 2-S plasma tweeter extends the response past 40 kHz — together giving the Hyperion an active bandwidth of more than eleven octaves.
Internal wiring is Ceramic Silver. The body is offered in Black or White acrylic; the horn can be specified in any RAL colour at no charge.
