Audio Note CDT Six/Force

The CDT Six/Force is Audio Note UK’s reference Level 6 Red Book CD transport, a two-box design built without compromise. A heavy copper chassis provides electromagnetic and vibrational isolation, and a top-loading custom-modified Philips CD Pro2LF mechanism sits on a sprung sub-chassis derived from the TT-Three turntable suspension, with SOOTTO cable to the digital output board. The valve digital output stage uses a valve-rectified supply, an in-house silver-wired output transformer, AN UK Silver Foil and Black Gate capacitors, and PALLAS digital interconnect internally. The external Force PSU houses three separate supplies, valve-rectified and regulated with a Double C-Core choke, linked to the transport by SOGON LX96 umbilicals.
