Audio Note CDT Three.
The CDT Three is the Level 3 CD transport — an in-house modified Philips mechanism with AES/EBU (XLR) output added alongside the SPDIF coax (RCA). Pairs with the DAC 3.1x / 4.1x balanced DACs that accept AES input.

Three CD transports — the disc-reading half of the chain, without an onboard DAC. Built for buyers who already have a DAC (an Audio Note 2.1x / 3.1x / 4.1x / 5) and want a dedicated transport rather than the all-in-one CD player. Output via SPDIF (coax / optical) to the partnering DAC.
