Audio Note (UK) manufactures phono cartridges in two main families: the IQ moving magnet series for general use, and the IO moving coil series for the highest performance. Each cartridge employs hand-assembled premium components including custom-machined cantilevers and finely tuned suspensions to extract maximum musical detail from vinyl recordings. The IO series features ultra-low output requiring a matched step-up transformer such as the AN-S series.
