Burmester 217 Top Line Turntable.
The 217 is Burmester’s first turntable in the Top Line — playback quality first, operated with complete simplicity behind the iconic chrome front. Two belt-drive motors run against a massive, low-resonance unibody housing machined from solid aluminum; the gimbal-mounted straight tonearm (239.1 mm effective length, unidirectional fiber composite with aluminum components) carries a pre-assembled Shibata-stylus MC system, and each deck ships with a composite-leather mat.
