About the
Eversolo DAC-Z10.

The Eversolo DAC-Z10 is a flagship reference DAC and preamplifier engineered around a dual-mono architecture that keeps left and right channels electrically and mechanically separated from input to output. Eversolo’s Fully Isolated Architecture (FIA) forms the structural foundation, placing the digital processing, left-channel analog stage, and right-channel analog stage on independent circuit domains — each powered by its own dedicated custom linear power supply — to eliminate inter-stage interference and preserve signal integrity at every point in the chain.

DAC Engine and Digital Processing

Each channel is driven by a dedicated AK4191 + AK4499 DAC pair implementing AKM’s Velvet Sound architecture. The combined silicon handles PCM up to 768 kHz / 32-bit and DSD up to DSD512, with measured THD+N of 0.00008% and dynamic range reaching 130 dB. Volume control is handled through dual R2R resistor networks — one per channel — providing fully independent, lossless analog-domain attenuation that avoids the resolution loss inherent in digital volume implementations.

Clocking and Jitter Suppression

Digital timing is managed by the Eversolo Precision Core, which integrates an OCXO temperature-controlled crystal oscillator, PLL jitter suppression, and FPGA-based clock reconstruction into a unified clocking subsystem. External clock inputs are provided for 10 MHz and 25 MHz reference signals (50 ohm / 75 ohm selectable), allowing the DAC-Z10 to lock to a master clock in systems where absolute timing coherence across multiple digital components is required.

Preamplifier and Headphone Output

The unit doubles as a fully balanced preamplifier with both XLR and RCA analog I/O and a +10 dB gain option for driving long cable runs or less sensitive power amplifiers. The integrated headphone amplifier auto-detects load impedance and delivers 1W into 16 ohms and 1W into 32 ohms — sufficient to drive planar magnetic headphones to full output without strain.

Connectivity

Digital inputs include USB Audio, dual coaxial, dual optical, IIS, AES/EBU, and HDMI ARC/eARC — all electrically isolated from the analog domain. Wireless playback runs through a Qualcomm QCC5125 Bluetooth module with support for high-resolution codecs.

Interface and Control

An 8.8-inch IPS touchscreen with electromagnetic shielding provides direct access to input selection, volume, and display modes including VU and spectrum visualizations. The Eversolo Control App extends full remote operation to iOS, Android, and macOS devices.
