Eversolo EM-01 Omnidirectional Microphone.

The Eversolo EM-01 is an omnidirectional measurement microphone purpose-built for acoustic calibration of audio playback systems, with secondary utility for general recording and conferencing. It pairs directly with Eversolo’s room correction software on the DMP-A6, A8, A10, and Play series, but its USB Type-C interface and UAC1.0 compliance make it compatible with any Windows, Mac OS, iOS, or Android device running standard measurement software such as REW.

Capsule and Performance

The EM-01 uses a 6mm electret condenser capsule with a sensitivity of -13 dBFS and a frequency response spanning 20 Hz to 20 kHz within +/-1 dB (with calibration file applied). The noise floor measures -84 dBFS (A-weighted, +30 dB IGPA), and the capsule handles sound pressure levels up to 130 dB SPL at 1% THD — sufficient for near-field measurement of loudspeakers at full output without capsule compression or distortion.

Digital Conversion

A 24-bit ADC sampling at 48 kHz converts the capsule signal on-board, delivering a clean digital stream over USB without requiring an external audio interface. This integrated approach simplifies the measurement chain and eliminates one potential source of noise and latency.

Build and Accessories

The body is machined from aluminum alloy, balancing durability with low weight at just 47g and 155mm total length. The package includes a desktop tripod stand, microphone holder, 3-meter Type-C to USB-A data cable, 1-meter Type-C to Type-C OTG cable, and a windscreen.
