The AN-S1 is the entry Audio Note UK step-up transformer — hand-wound, with selectable 1:10 / 1:20 ratios suitable for moving-coil cartridges from 2 Ω up. Pairs naturally with the IO-1 cartridge feeding an M1 RIAA or OTO Phono.

Four hand-wound step-up transformers for matching Audio Note UK moving-coil cartridges (and any third-party low-output MC) into the 47 kΩ moving-magnet phono input of an M-series RIAA stage or an OTO Phono. The conductor moves from silver-plated copper at the entry through pure silver at the top. Each SUT is tuned to a specific cartridge impedance range — Audio Note will recommend the pairing.
