The AN-S8L is the reference step-up transformer at Audio Note UK — top-tier silver winding, three selectable ratios for matching any cartridge from ultra-low-output MC up. Voiced as the partner for the IO Limited Field Coil cartridge.

Four hand-wound step-up transformers for matching Audio Note UK moving-coil cartridges (and any third-party low-output MC) into the 47 kΩ moving-magnet phono input of an M-series RIAA stage or an OTO Phono. The conductor moves from silver-plated copper at the entry through pure silver at the top. Each SUT is tuned to a specific cartridge impedance range — Audio Note will recommend the pairing.
